you bump in the contactor.....kind of like the carriers with the clo. This unit has .6 vdc from j6 6 to 8. Is that enough for cool call? If u bump in the contactor a fewmoments later the unit starts. According to the previous tech and the maint man. I cant duplicate that but they swear to it. Runs fine in test mode

sounds like it doesn't have enough voltage to pull in but has enough to stay in. Is it using a conventional stat? If so, how long a wire run and what gauge t-stat wire.

Yeah wiring is fine. 26v at the coil and I havent been able to duplicate problem so for now shrugging that one off. Replaced the tstay and now have 32v dc on 6 and 8 on j6 plug...ac running fine. I may have jumped the gun on posting....thanks for reply
