Can anyone direct me to a source for a replacement hook for a Testo 550?

if not, then contact Testo.

there is/was a thread about an updated design, but the last word was the new/beefier design was not backwards compatible( I think ).

I might be able to help you out. After 5 repairs on mine during the warranty period, it broke again and Testo now wants $321 to fix. As far as I'm concerned, my 550 just became a boat anchor. If you have problem finding a new part let me know and I might be able to scavenge mine.

I would like to purchase the front half of the case if your interested.
The display window of mine has "cracked" in three places.

Thanks in Advance...and yes, that's just what mine looks like, except I dont have the big part.

^ Mine did the same thing ugh.......but it also cracked the housing where the hook connects. Its been a pain in the arse not being able to hang them on the job or when I put them back in the truck.
