Trane VariTrac 2 CCP

I am trying to connect to a CCP using HyperTerminal. If I look inside the CCP I see the dip switch for the baudrate is set to on which makes the baudrate 1200 so I connect to it at baud rate 1200 and I get the VariTrac screen that tells me to hit h for help and L for list but no matter what I hit I get nothing! Has anyone else seen this problem before?

I finally figured it out, I had my flow control set to hardware opposed to none...
