working for siemens or jci?

I was laid off from JCI last Thanksgiving. Corporate restructuring. I never saw it comming. Apparently they have a reputation for doing that.

I am currently working for Siemens. And did work for other majors in the past. From my experience, and advice from Siemens techs here in Montreal, coming from every other control company (including JCI), Siemens is hard to beat. But remember, nothing is perfect, and it's the people you'll be working with that makes a difference.

I have heard good things about Siemens... I know of at least 2 people that have left JCI for Siemens and are very happy..

I'm sorry to hear that you were one of the many to get the axe. Seimens is very good for techs.
