Don't know that I have ever posted on this forum, good reading though. Just wanted to show homeowners what the filter looks like opened up. Sorry if a picture has already been posted. This is a 2200 24" x 39'.

I was doing a P.M. one day, and counted the pleats on one of those spacegards, and measured the width, and I came up with 39'. Looks like my math was correct!

Cool post! I have heard 75 sq. ft., etc. But this picture really is worth a thousand words. Didn't know I could be more sold on this air cleaner than I already was.

I'm with James. Nice sales tool.

2200

How many pleats are there?

I went out to my van and checked... I was bored tonight. The 2200 is 24" wide with 78 pleats at 6" each. The 2400 is 27" wide with 64 pleats also being 6" each.

Well that makes sense now that I did the math. 78sq.ft. on the 2200 & 72sq.ft. on the 2400. Glad you were bored. Thanks

Hi Selfemployed,

This is totally of the subject but you have an amazingly beautiful green grass!

But thats not my yard or house. Customer bought it (so they say) because it was a judges and it has powerpile steam heat. When the power was out for 3-4 days a few years ago during an ice storm they were warm and toasty. They invited their neighbors over to warm up.

They used to advertise it as 76 sq ft. It's got the least PD per MERV of anything I've seen so far, and they've been using the same media for what 25 years? The low PD has to be from the media rather than the size (which gives it the long lifespan). They must have locked up that media with a strong patent years ago.
