I cant figure this one out..
Carrier rtu economizer only calling for one compressor..
I checked for 24v from the thermoststa to y1 and y2.
The board only sends a signal at C1 for compressor#1.C2 TERMINAL for COMPRESSOR#2
Does not have a signal..I attempted to manual program the
Economizer to call for c1 and c2..that did not work..
I read there is a temp sensor that looks at supply air and shuts down 1 comp on temp drop..heck its 100 degress here in virginia..any suggestions..

yes it does have the 4 led light..
with both lights on for the compressors...
Go here http://www.xpedio.carrier.com/intradoc-cgi/nph-idc_cgi.exe?IdcService=GET_LITERATURE_QUERY_PAGE&dDocType=TechLit
and search for "Catalog No. 534-80202"
If the supply air sensor fails the module lets the t-stat control the comps directly.
Are you sure the board is configured for 2 comps? Should be factory default, but you never know who's been playin with the damn buttons (not the easiest control to set-up, if you don't see them every day)

Thanks for the link sonc..
your right about programming this board-its a booger!!!
I WILL GO BACK INTO THE SETUP AND CHECK THE CONFIGURATION SETPOINTS-DARN ITS A PAIN..YOU HAVE TO SIT THERE AND COUNT THOSE FLASHING LIGHTS FOR EACH SETTING..
I WILL LET YOU KNOW HOW IT WENT..
THANKS

If both green led'3 are on, C2 should be closed..if not change the board.
Good luck and let us know how it goes

this board is a real pain in the ass to program, an extra man to read out the perameter numbers will help. if you mess up or lose your place, just pull the 24v plug and it will take you back to #1 without resetting the perameters you previously set. trust me it will happen. i hope you only have one unit to do.

okay sonc, thats what i thought-i will get a new board ordered on monday
thanks...
yea coldndn,
you darn near two people to program this econ-board..
with counting flashing lights and two seconds to press a button..carrier could do a full 8 hours course on this board alone...
