i am looking for a tool that will take tempature readings on roof tops to set the outside air to the proper amounts
i have bought 2 different multimeters from home depot this week and they were both off and different from each other by 2.5 deg!
has anyone had good luck with a particular one?
i am leaning towards the field piece unit but not sure of which one

For accurate digital temperature measurements you need a "thermistor" type thermometer. Fieldpiece will be offering one soon, but they don't have one at the moment. Check out Cooper-Atkins.

I also use a Cooper-Atkins. I use the SH66A (http://www.cooper-atkins.com/productspecsheet.asp?pid=251).
