I'm working on a Delta System with many of the older Heatpump zone controllers. Every few weeks the controllers are loosing communication. At 1st I thought maybe the communication line is being overloaded. We had a few spares so I put them in and works great ever since. Those that are not communicating I hook directly to my spare board and still no communication. Checking to see if the communication can be repaired to these boards. I know an upgrade is a better way but my customer has MANY buildings with hundres of older V2 devices and they can't upgrade it all at once. Many proposals are in to upgrade thee sites. I do see that some of the older boards have a red RS485 chip in. Can't seem to find any information on them and the proper application and setup/use of them.

Thanks

PM me if your still having this problem. I can tell you where and what to get. The chips are in sockets so all you do is toll the old ones and install new ones. I used to buy them 100 at a time.
