How much would it cost to have new coils installed ? i have a XR13 outside however very old and dirty coils on the inside ?

I have summit coils thats pretty old and mismatched from the condenser outside.. also about how much energy savings would i get to have a matching coil vs the mismatch that i have currently ?

You need to get a couple of bids from local companies for the coils.

You get matching coils for the condenser and you will get a AHRI rating with mismatched coils it's a crap shoot your seer is probably lower than 10 and the BTU output is less.

Please read site rules no pricing allowed. There is no way for anyone to give a price on something they have not seen. There are also many variables like hard pipe or flex duct, horizontal or vertical and a myriad other options. Do as suggested and check with local contractors and the lowest bid usually not your best choice it maybe but not usually.

Get them both changed out at the same time, with matching equitment, and you get maximum efficiency.
Or, have a pro replace the indoor coil with one that matches your outdoor.
