Came across a steam boiler that also had a hot water loop piped on the water side (bottom) of boiler. Oil fired with a gray or green jacket.
M/N osb-6
S/N 1
DOE HTG capacity steam btu 204,000 232,000
Net I=B=R rating steam btu 153,00 174,000
I need to recommend a replacement boiler. I didn't see any names on it but think it may be a weil mclean. Any thoughts or recommendations as to what would be a good replacement. TIA Fitz

Looks like Williamson. Which was just a rebranded Weil McLain.
Good replacement.....not alot of options with steam. Another cast iron, that is piped properly this time.

You are correct ascj. That is a Williamson. I would look at a Weil Mclain or Smith for replacement. Fitzy, the manufacturer's rep for your area is a company called Sweeney Rogers. If you need contact info, I have their number somewhere. They can help with selecting the correct replacement model.
BTW, the oil filter is half of a Tiger Loop Ultra. There is usually a filter on the bottom of the clear bowl.

The clear filter is a tiger loop. There is a fb4 cartrige at the tank. Thanks fellows I'll call sweeny rogers 2maro. Ascj what do you think about the piping. It has copper supply coming off the boiler which I really don't care for. Thanks for the help guys...
