I have a low temp box thats not going into defrost..
The time clocks turns but when it gets to defrost the compressor continualy runs& fans..
I checked voltages ,and when it clicked to defrost,it showed no voltage TO HEATERS AT THE #3 TERMINAL..does not pump down, and the compressor runs...
Is this clock defective...

Low Pressure Control set too low.

check the timer release solenoid on the back of the time clock, it may be burned which will not let clock go into defrost mode or make sure contacts make and break like they should

I disconnected the x terminal, yea low pressure control is fine-i checked that earlier-unit will pump down of off thermostat..one thing i notice that dont look right is they got one leg of the compressor wired to the #2 leg instead of the #4 terminal..that puts the compressor on the line side of the clock..

If any thread needs to be reorganized, it's the "Mystery Problem". It's so badly fragmented you don't know where to start. ;)
