I have a FX60 with Loncard and I connected a Trane network that has a Air Handler and 7 VAV's. When I discover on the Lon network I see a MP580P335101. When I discover points on this i see some 600+ points. Is there anything I can do with these points or am I going about it wrong? Having zero knowledge about Trane I'm lost. :gah: Thanks for any insight.

Integrating MP580's is a tough deal without a good relationship with the original programmer - only he/she can tell you what var1, var2, var 473, etc... really stand for.
You'll be able to guess on a few of them (well, you'll recognize temperatures and pressures, but not much else...), but where the setpoints are, or other configuration data, will be real tough to figure out.
The original programmer should be able to provide you a list of what the var's mean, but if you don't have access to that (if you're late to the party, and Trane is long gone), you've got a tough row to hoe...

Let us all take a moment to praise the openness of lon.
