Does Am.Std. Air-Title Handler use TXV

Does the American Standard variable speed 'Air-Tite' family of AIr handlers (for R-22) use a TXV? The brochure doesn't say. The mod.no is TWE031E13F. Are variable speed handlers less reliable than the fixed speed ones? Thanks again.

Non-bleed TXV. VS blowers are very reliable. Outrageous to replace but fortunately rarely need it.
