I just fired up this controller and installed 4 different 10k ohm thermistor sensors on 4 inputs. All 4 of them read approx. 860F. Does this make any sense? Have I done something obviously wrong? I can put in an 'Correction' of 790 or so to make the sensor read correctly but then it does not track properly either.
I have set the Hardware Input to 10K thermistors, F etc. Any other suggestions?

Well.... obviously what I am seeing is the temp with one decimal place although the decimal is not shown. Is there a way to set or eliminate the decimal place in the temp?

It seems to save space Distech does not implement floating point at controller level, so all temperatures for example will be shown as whole numbers in the worksheets. 860 = 86.0 etc.
so when you look at your worksheets that is how they are shown.

To show it properly on front end graphics you add the decimal where you want. (i.e /10, /100, /1000 ) etc.

Now if your problem is that it is not 86 degress in your room then check to see that thermistor you bought is what you have configured in your HW configuration worksheet. There are a few different thermistor or rtd curves or types, type2,3, etc.

Thanks Amigo. I swerved into that conclusion myself about the floating point. Unfortunately, the paperwork is not very detailed as is the case with most controllers. My space was around 86F at the time. I was thinking that maybe there was some way to format the temp at the controller level.
