Trane XE900 outside unit down

Have outside trane xe900 unit approx 4 ton unit that the fan started making load noise this am and quit. shut down unit immediately. over last week had heard clicking noise when fan was on, sounded like bearing problem. is it worth trying to get this old of a unit fixed, guessing late 1990's unit?

i would imagine if the coil is in good shape i would put in a rescue motor!
