View Full Version : Carrier Screw Chiller line injection line
I have a R-22 Carrier Screw Frame 4 chiller. Model number 23XL4343ED40 (300 tons). What is the purpose of the Liquid Injection Line that originates from the bottom of the condenser and terminates at the First Closed Lobe of the screw?

Thank you for your reply and the link. I have the publication already, but thanks for your effort.
I thought the motor cooling was only accomplished by the "Motor Cooling Supply" line which originates from bottom of the condenser (FLASC chamber)and terminates at the motor. The "Liquid Injection Line" terminates at the compressor lobe port.
