What little extras does the 25 ton carrier provide ?

Does it have dehumification only option ?
Dehumidication and 1st stage cooling ?
dehumidication and 2nd stage cooling ?

Or doe it have just a/c operations that provide dehumidication due the a/c mode ?

Dear Toolpusher,

After being a part of this industry for eleven years and being a part of this forum for the last four and half of them, I would think you would have learned to post a model number with your above question friend.

Like they say……”Post the model number and the answers will come.”

Respectfully Submitted,
John J. Dalton

I don't have #'s to post.
And didn't think I'd need them to know if Carrier has that ability with their 25 ton units.

Lennox L series does @ 25 tons,
and I don't need #'s to find out, just knowing the brand and tonage.

It tells me what they offer.
Thats all I'm aftre here, is some one who knows the brand what what they offer at a given tonage.

There are many options you could have added to your unit. check with carrier to find out the details

John, just since I started running service in 94.
doesn't mean thats when I got in the field.

Even an engineer would know if i had the model #'s then i would be able to look it up myself, to see what they offer.

Since I don't have the papers on Carrier I thought I'd ask.

But as schomaker says , I'll have to check with someone at carrier.

I believe that Carrier only offers the Moisturemizer on 12 to 15 ton package units that are i the weathermaster line with gas or electric heat.

Toolpusher,

Assuming you are refering to rooftop units, then understand that we do not make a "standard" unit.

However, our model 48/50 A and Z series, either gas or electric heat, now come complete with full comfort controls and an online marquee display that allows you total access to the program and all of the configuration settings so that you (the installing contractor) could install the unit, conduct start up and service the equipment in the furture without the need of a laptop.

We offer complete training and also offer extended warranties if a factory trainined technician conducts the start up. Your choice!

Not to bore you or sound like a salesman, but the equipment can have a VFD or it can have full economizer controls or even an expansion module which would allow another DDC system to talk to the unit or allow for remote control of many of the internal control features that are standard on the equipment.

Certainly contact the local Carrier distributor in your area or email me and I'll get you the contact you need to talk to.

John

That is a big help John.

Sounds more like I'm talking apples to apples now on both units.

My install won't need any heat.
