Are you doing residential or commericial work?

I have had success doing residential work using "The Ultimate Puller"

Can anyone tell me about a web site that carries the ultimate puller. Thanks, Jmandtc.

First choice... your local, friendly HVAC supplier!

Second choice... Google... Grainger, Johnstones, URI, Rapco Supply, partsguy.com...

Search for several key words... Ultimate Puller, Ritchie Tools, HVAC Tools, Refrigeration Tools, Fan blade pullers, pullers, etc...

There are simply hundreds of online stores!

I use the ultimate puller too but I also used the automotive tuning fork thingie(Yes that's the name of it) as that and a hammer can get most pulleys off a motor where a puller will break them.

I also like the ultimate puller. Especially on prop fans, normal puller forks will bend the blade near the hub. You still need to heat it up or allow some freeing agnet to work when you're dealing with rust.

I have never broken a blade using a puller. Do you know the 3-P's (proper puller proceedures)? :D

A FILE- penetrating oil- A hammer-punch - and if that dosnt work-the torch

it gets damn hard to pull a fan off after omeone has mushroomed the shaft of the motor, without filing the burrs off first
