I am wondering what size is this evaporator coil.

Also how many cfm's should it be moving?

Is the blower one speed or can it be set from low to high?

A 2.5 ton system would require 1000 cfm of air. Most all furnaces are equipped with at least a 3 ton blower. Carriers have multi-speed blowers and yes there is high, medium, and low. High speed is going to be a black wire of the blower motor. You may want to call a qualified person to verify speed selection is to your satisfaction

I switched blower motor to Medium Low to see if it makes a difference in the cooling in the house.

I have a 1700 square foot house.

Will changing the blower setting affect how much freon there needs to be?
