pressure readings on the fritz

The unit was running and on the high side I got 0. The low side I got -30. How is this possible?

does it have any gas in it? look for oil...the compressor is doing just what it is made to do...after you find the leak. put a low pressure switch on it..might as well sell 'em a high pressure switch too..

sounds like the hose depressor did not make contact with with the schrader core on the high side of the system. Was the discharge line hot?

could it be that your gages are in need of replacement?? could it be that after you pulled the vacuum you forgot to add gas? or maybe it just all leaked out and you have no safeties.
