View Full Version : Multi input relay
Does this exist? A multi input relay that controls one contact with 3 inputs? Or a packaged system of 3 relays that does the same thing?
The purpose is to control one 120V exhaust fan from any of three toilet room light switches.

Wire the fan switches in parallel.

You may want to consider using three small 110vac spst-no relays. Wire each relay coil in parallel with the respective lights and put the three normally open contacts in parallel with each other and in series with the fan.
This will isolate each light circiut and prevent possible back feed problems with the lights.
Good luck...
The light switches with be occupancy sensors and I do not want the lights in all rooms to turn on when one switch is on. I do not want separtate fan switches.
Thanks ruud-man.
That is what I have in mind. I was just wondering if there was something packaged that would do the job.

If your restroom is a suite, put the fart fan on the light in the fart problem area. Occupancy sensors have 'delay off' timers on all of them anyway, so they will all be on for a few minutes when somebody enters.
