I am replacing a 15yr old 11 seer 4 ton Trane heat pump in Phoenix, Az for a single story home 1900sp. So far I have a quote from one company with a couple to come next week on a new split system Trane 4twr5048e1000a w air handler 4tee3f65b1000a seer 15 48,000btu for $ minus rebates of 425 and 300 tax credit with 10years parts, labor & compressor warranty or Lennox XP14-048 with air handler cbx27u4-048 for $ with 475 rebate and 300 tax credit. Is this too high a price for each? Also, which one is consider better over long term.

You'd think they'd put that in bold colorful letters...oh wait, I guess they did. You'd think they'd put in the rules about not posting pricing...oh wait, I guess they did. You'd think people would read these things before posting!

Welcome to the site, it can be a very helpful place...but you might want to read the rules.
