Bacon wouldn't last that long around my house.:grin2: But it is good to see they are using maple syrup in the recipe.

I recently had bacon ice cream and liked it, so I'm thinking this stuff would be "jamming".

You like your nuts smoked? (Yes, I am serious.) I bet you can take some dry roasted p-nuts and stir some Bacon Jam in and it would be really good but what couldn't you add this stuff to?

RoBo? IceCream?

Make some and let us know.

I took the wife and step daughter to an upscale, but more eclectic restaraunt for my wife's birthday a couple of weeks ago and aside from antelope and wild boar, we also had bacon ice cream on a home made blondie. It had lots of crispy bacon pieces that looked like well cooked strip bacon crumbles mixed into vanilla bean ice cream. It took a few bites to get used to a salty taste with ice cream, but it really worked well with the blondie.

Not sure about the Jam, but I recently discovered Bacon salt at the grocery store. Never heard of it before. Best thing I've found in years. We buy at Target locally, not sure what chain ya'll have, but it's well worth a try.
