I live in Tenn., a humid place in the the summer. I have a whole-house air cleaner built into my air handler which cleans only when air is moving thru its electrically charged filters. I've received conflicting info from two local professionals about running the handler fan continuously year round. One says it's ok; the other says it's ok to run the fan 24/7 in the winter but I should put it on auto in the summer so it will cycle on and off with the A/C compressor. He lost me talking about humidity, evaporator coils, etc causing mold and mildrew problems in the summer.
Please help me understand what I should do.
