Thought this might be helpful.

I hit BWI flight 2096 American Airlines @3:24 pm

Anybody hitting the ground around the same time.... lets swap cell phone #'s and share a taxi.
I know this is early but if I dont do it now, I'll forget what it is. This online ticket biz is cool. I got to hand pick excellent seats for all 4 flights. Quite a choice this early.

I get a kick out of taxi drivers if they're not wearing a towel on their head. We aint got taxis where I live. Just one weirdo who bought a 1975 limo for 2,500 bucks and drives drunks home from the bars on weekends. I dont want any more......... you know what, over picking someone at the airport. I'm guessing I'll meet up with Sarge, Scott&Liz, Otto&Bride, Craig&MzLynda, or somebody I don't even know yet and well get there just fine.

Let me look at the map and see where the airport is. Maybe we can get lost together!

I'll sure take a ride if it's convenient........ Dice of Benn or anybody. I'm just trying to save you trouble. I think it's a pain in the ass to meet people at the airport personally. I'll sure taxi it [while you'uns start chillin the beers] no problem.

The airport is only 10 minutes , sometimes less , from the Harbour.Very easy route straight from BWI to downtown Baltimore. Like I said before I will be @ BWI @ 8:00am. If anyone needs directions or anything else that would help in them gettin to the Harbour feel free to ask. Hey Robo what has been decided for Saturday ? Are we gonna try to get everyone to say Patapsco State park maybe for a crab feast ? Let me know and I will help in setting it all up.

I'm definitely thinking crab feast but would rather keep it at the Inner Harbor so we don't have to do any travel arrangements.

There is Phillips an Legal Seafood right there. Both of these are a bit pricey, not the true "Bawlmor" feel but they do have extensive menus for those who have an aversion to tearing apart messy animals, scraping their guts and lungs away and picking out meat to eat :D

There is a crab house on Fort avenue that is supposed to be one of the more traditional Baltimore crab feast venues but we would still need to ride there. I am trying to find out if the Harbor trolleys go there or if the water taxi gets close enough.

more traditional Baltimore Crab Feast Venues. Hell, 1/2 of us can fit in Beeenies Expedition and the rest will have rental cars, etc. I wouldn't want to travel there to eat at Aurther Treachers.

Plus like you said not the "true Balmer" feel. Legal Seafood is great but not the party atmosphere @ all !! I say maybe Berthas Muscels maybe. I definetally say we find more of a pub type place with all you can eat crabs.

LP Steamers is the one I was talking about. Sounds unanimous. Everyone I talk to say that LP Steamers has the best crabs and is the typical old Bawlmer style rowhome eatery.

They only sold Bones Farm in Georgia, the rest of us had to settle for Boones Farm......and in college, I loved that stuff, actually I loved anything with alcohol in it, no matter how bad it was...:D

When I was young and not so bright I made a water pipe that fit into the neck of the Boones Farm and Bali Hai bottles. After smoking through the wine for a week it was a real treat to down the contents along with the 1/4" of residue floating on top. WHAT A BUZZ!

Yes you have, It's great. I'll bring you some in August. That is if Miss Lynda hasn't drank it all, she loves it.

Getting past the idea of drinking sludge is the hard part. Once you've tried it though, you won't regret having done it.

An old friend from OC has a bar there somewhere. You might know him, Skunny. I wouldn't want to drive 3 hours to stand in line at Phillips. I can do that here. Legal is too McOutBack for me. Bertha's? I can get an "Eat Bertha's Mussells" bumper sticker.

It was different in the early stages of the hippy movement :D

If you can remember the 60s or 70s, you weren't there. I straightened up after being hospitalized at 18. I was truly burned out by that time.

You're suppose to have cheap wine in there, like Balli Hi or something.

LP STeamers does not offer all you can eat crabs . They are only sold by the dozen and start @ $25 for smalls. That can get kinda pricy if you plan to eat more than a dozen , which is not hard to do when to Sam Adams is flowing ! lol I am going to continue to look around for an all you can eat place though.

Stamas

Most places that do this save the good crabs for sale by the dozen and sell the small ones for AUCE folks. Sometimes they bulk cook when the come in then reheat-which downright sucks.

When we went down to Balitmore a few years back there was this big market place. The building looked like an old trolley barn or factory. Inside was all little non-fancy resturarants, bars, delis, produce and crafts. My sister, BIL, the War Dept.and I had a great time downing beers and eating local seafood.

What is the name of that place? It was about 10 block from the harbor? We walked there but took a cab back as I remember.:D

grocery store like that in Pitts. Very Cool! Most of their seafood was LIVE! It was near that Annamalmahey River.
