Intellislot Monitoring Cards LBDS

Acquire the monitoring card from you local Liebert Rep, after installing you must setup it up thru HyperTerminal with the customer's network information i.e. ip address, gateway, netmask, etc. using the provided null modem cable with the card. Setup instructions included with the card as well.

If it is the WEB-LBDS the customer will need a cable that is connected to his network for monitoring.

Here in New Jersey we have one distributer and I need to bone up on this before I call them.
The Customer is asking his electrician to help them get it and He is a really good friend who helps me out often ,so I,m gonna help him

looking for ethernet converters
and network interface information

What controller is the unit using?? Is it ICOM??
If it is a ICOM system then Domcort is 100% correct.

The model VS028AUCO will have a iCom Controller, the unit should also have a intellislot card holder where it will accept cards for monitoring and or communications. No converter needed as you are only connecting the monitoring card to the customers network not the unit. This is often confusing where many IT guys will address the units to their networks and cause communication ciaos, when networking mutiple units together in their own private network, the monitoring cards are utilized for peering into the unit to pull the requested information.
