NJ HVAC license

Any one have any info on New Jersey requiring a HVAC license to perform work. I know it was in the "works" years ago. WHat about a mechanical contracting license?

I havent heard of one yet, and I pull permits there for commercial jobs all the time. no township has asked me for one yet. from time to time, some townships themselves require one, but nothing on a state level.
