"Pump Oil" meaning ...??? Vacuum pump oil?
Air compressor pump oil?
Is this for a refrigeration compressor?
If so, the manufacturer states which oil it comes shipped with.
If it's a vacuum pump ... vac pump oil is all pretty much good stuff. Your vac pump will accept all the top brands and be just fine.
Now .... what's your question???:)

viscosity, to start with. then the abiltiy for pump oil to absorb moisture.
The best thing to do with the mineral oil if its new is use it in a CFC system, sell it or call your local oil recycler.
