Hello all...question if I may,at what ambient temps would
you say that a condenser will start to lose capacity?

I pipe in two low temps and one med temp about six months ago all has been fine until recently with the 90 degree temps.

These unit set in a 20x30x12 warehouse, and I stop by this morning just to take a peak and it was hot as hell in there.
Well what I perceive hell would feel like.

Oh back to the problem at hand,I explain that when summer came this might be a issue with 13 ton of equipment putting off heat.

So I wanted to run it by you all and see if you think I'm on the right track.I'll be heading out to the job shortly
and will takes some temps in pressure and share with you all when I get back.

Thanks...Simp.

you need to check specs of your unit

here's RATING OF Copeland FTAH-A125 unit at +25 suction
90 amb 10,790 BTUH
100 amb 9,580 BTUH
110 amb 7,210 BTUH

Thanks rocket. The complaint was the freezer not going below
20 degree.

Two condenser/ah sharing one cabinet..I herd one of the ah
hissing, found low on freon, crack low pressure switch.

Here the pt on the other,404a..

Ambient in warehouse..96 degree.
Ambient entering condenser..107
ambient coming out of condenser 126.8 degree.

Suction line temp-35.
saturated temp-0
lowside pressure-30 psi.

Liquid line temp out of condenser 120
liquidline sat temps 152.
liquid line pressure 400 psi whew! Did come down to 325 psi
once I open loading doors to the warehouse.

First time working with 404a..Do they normally run such high discharge temps?

They need some ventilation in that warehouse for those refrigeration units. The old rule of thumb for straight air-cooled units is 1000 CFM/HP, so it's time to sell them some exhaust fans, intake louvers and controls.
