I have a classic 90 contour plus furnace and just hooked up the condensor and keep getting code 66. Its got the programable modulating thermostat. If put into just cool it starts flashing imediately. If in auto starts out with a C then goes to 66. this is on the IFC board. All switches were left in default position when installed and this winter it was fine.Stat wires are on yh and c.It is a 90000 btu, model RGFD-09EZCMS,serial# FK5D701f250412671.MFD 06/2004, UTEC IFC board MODEL 1137-1 REV 03 0411 RHEEM# 62-24174-01. The filter is fine. the the ductwork is right, there is no loose blower wheel . the static pressure if it was off wouldn't it show up in heat mode also? code 66 is ECM feedback signal above 1200 on blower wheel. The unit is a upflow with the condenser outside. The unit still functions and keeps running but there is something not set or hooked up right, any help will be greatly appreciated. (THANKS)

What size is the outdoor unit? What kind of filter? Most likely never need the max on heating. If your using an electostactic 1" filter, switch to a one dollar bolder and cow pile catcher and run it on cool, to see if it improves the air flow. Best thing to do is get the dealer back and have him set thething up. with all the switches in the factory setting your looking for 1200 cfm on 1/2 hp and 2000cfm on a 1 hp ICM.

What size A/C do you have?

30,000 btu, 2-1/2 ton (model)- RAMC030JAZ I purchased it through web direct on the internet and installed it myself. The filter was pulled out when that check was made. I will have to check on the blower wheel hp.

What did you set the cooling blower DIP switch to? Or did you? The lowest the 09 will go is 1200 CFM, not appropriate for a 2.5 ton A/C. I guess your internet supplier didn't tell you that :(

You need to consult your web direct supplier, he's the only one who can provide support for it.

You bought a mod 90 on web direct??????

US&D didnt sell the equipment to this man, a contractor bought it and sold it. The contractor he purchased it through is the one who has to deal with it. Not US&D.
