Aluminum Air Deflectors/Registers?

Hi all,

Went to Lowe's to buy replacement air deflectors/registers and they offer aluminum registers and a heavier metal register (not sure of the metal). The aluminum registers are slightly more expensive... any advantage to the aluminum ones?

The alum. ones are for area's with high moisture content (bathrooms, pools, etc...). Becareful the wooden regs are very restrictive and so are some of the brass and chrome ones. This could make your a/c not perform as designed.
