The compressor itself is not field serviceable. Are you looking for internal oil filter, loader solenoids, oil solenoid, ???

Dear Friends, please see my responses below !
DjKen - Yes , We need those part numbers also . Do you have any info to help us on this ? We are not doing the overhaul on the field , but inside our companie. We are specialized on compressors rebuild but this compressor is "new" for us.
FreonRick - We are looking for the , oil filters ( internal and external ) , o-rings , gaskets and internal bearings only.
Thanks for help !!

I can get you the part numbers for oil filters and solenoids. There are no part numbers avaliable for the internals of that compressor. You will have to do some reverse engineering to figure out what is needed internally. By that, I mean you will have to tear it down piece by piece and figure out how each part is made and how it fits in the compressor.(good luck)

all the part number is on epic. even the internal parts. you have to go through carrier or rcd to get any of the parts. internal filters are all the same. the external oil filter is different depending on if it is air or water cooled.

do they have a web site?

epic is a program that has part numbers a images break down of the equipment they make. if you have access to hvac partners it is on there.

I don't think this compressor was ever meant to be rebuild by anyone other than the factory. It is almost impossible to rebuild some screws without special equipment that only the factory has. I would contact Carrier and ask them if they think it is a good idea for you to try a rebuild.

impossible i think not ,complicated yes if he has the tools and parts it can be done.
I dont think the manufactures went away from recips only because screw and scrolls are more efficient.Everyone here knows who to buy a rebuilt recip from.
i always here how no one can build a screw but the manufacturer well the carrier 23xl been rebuilt in feild since its been out, trane says you cant do that because the clearance is too tight but when you order a new one guess what its rebuilt and york has the same policy send the compressor back and they will send you a rebuilt one.Duhnum bush will send you a rebuild manual and the parts you need to rebuild it in the feild.
a 06n will complicated thats givin but impossible no way

The 23XL was designed for field rebuilds, has the special tool kit to do it,and a tear down manual to lead the way. But it is still not something to be under taken by the faint of heart. I know a couple of techs that have a lot of experience bebuilding them and they recommend sending them back to the factory if a all possible.
The 06N has no rebuild kit, no field instructions, and as far as I know not even a parts list for the internal components. The only part that can be changed in the field is the discharge check valve.
Now if some brave sole with no experience on an 06N, and little to no experience on screws want to try it. Tally-Ho!

he said hes specialized in compressor rebuilds at his shop,if he rebuilds compressors everyday he most likely built screws. both refigeration compressor and air compressors are very much alike some use gears and some dont , Its not rocket science if he wants to rebuild one if he can get the parts he most likely wont have any problem with it.

the special tools you say are needed can be made.
