I am scheduled to take the written exam on the 24th of this month. I am confident about basics and theory and such. I am not confident about code. Will code books be available during the exam or should I start memorizing? I have a USCG license for ships and that exam allows for CFR codes and drawings and such. Is this similar for this written exam? Or do we get nothing but a pencil and scrap paper?
