Just replaced ncm 200 , could not load ncm from serial port on ncm. Then went to operators pc to download ncn.Would not accept database. Bldg has version 9.0 software. 1990 model . Do i need to change setup from archibus to port to load ncm ? This is the old dos version JCI. My background is on the newer version.

You should be able to download code and data from the archive OWS, first you will need to NOVRAM the NCM from the network map. There should be good step by step instructions on the procedure in Metasys help. I hope this helps, it's pretty easy.

What did u replace it with? Another 200 or 350.
In order to check and change Novram from your laptop you need gate and Node. When it is powered up does it come online on the workstation and needs a database or it stays offline. If offline then chances are Novram needs to be modified.

When you go to workstation, The ncm shows on line and waiting for database load.We bought a remanf 200. The last ncm we upgraded to a 350 which went a lot smoother.
