These units and whoever worked on them before me belong in the hall of fame!!! Seriously :gah:
RTU #1

RTU #1 Even though they are dry rotted no worries

RTU #2 The paper is just insulation. Not a fire hazard. Rats nests are COOL!!!! Why use electrical tape?
http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r12/SIITurbo/IMG00073-20110304-1743.jpg
RTU #2 BIG BLUE!!!!!!!!!! And high side switch? Why do we need them. Just jumper them and bypass

RTU #2 BIG BLUE... Oh how I love her!
http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r12/SIITurbo/IMG00075-20110304-1743.jpg
RTU #3 Instead of using reducers why not wrap the condensate pipe in electrical tape???
http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r12/SIITurbo/IMG00080-20110304-1744.jpg
RTU #3 Nice proper splice on the exterior

RTU #3 No worries here. Water can't get into the disconnect! LOL

I love to see stuff like that, especially once the customer has had enough of that thing not working correctly. :D

So today I had to go back to this same restaurant to fix their walk-in beer cooler. Small leak somewhere so I just topped her off with R-22 see how long it takes to leak out. If it doesnt last them I am going to have to find the leak :/ Monday I have to go fix their griddle and two exhaust fans

Lol, maybe the faded rimnents of what was one. Had to contact slctech and him tell me over the phone what was what. I need to get wifi for my laptop so I can use it anywhere and pull manuals when on the job.

If you've got an android phone you already have that ability. Just grab a USB cable, download the free app "EasyTether" and follow the simple instructions. If you use the free app, your phone doesn't set the "I'm tethered" bit and your carrier doesn't charge you an extra $30 a month.

I have a blackberry bold and at&t doesn't have an unlimited data plan :/. I think I'm going to get my motherinlaw to add me to her sprint plan; they allow unlimited. She gets a huge discount since she used to work for microsoft

The sad thing is that alot of this crap goes on all the time. It sits on the roof and noone can see the abortion someone has created. Makes me sick because I'm a plumb and level guy. Low bid got the work but now have to pay twice to fix it right.

What really sucks about places like that is after you are there a few times They begin to despise you. They despise you because you represent "$" going out the door. So after years of neglect you become the representation of all that has gone on before you even though you had nothing to do with it.
I hope you get paid at time of service .
The guys before you definently heard the "just get it going" we'll change it later.

Yup, I had to call them because they went passed their net 30 by 5 days. Paid me the day I called them wanting my money.
