What does FSHE and VSHE mean?

It is in reference to Nordyne products.

FSHE - Fixed Speed High Efficiency

VHSE - Variable Speed High Efficiency

The FSHE is like a standard motor. As duct conditions change, airflow changes. It is really efficient, has slow speed constant fan, dehumidify on demand. The VS can sense duct conditions, plugged filter etc. and adjust airflow to maintain a desired setting, up to a point. If the conditions are too restrictive it can't do it.

Actually with Nordyne it is the same motor, just different control board.
