carrier 30gb with Flotronic Control system

When I turn the control switch to the on position, instead of it reading "20" for initialization it goes straight to "88" like it is in the quick test mode. I didnt touch anything for it to go into quick test. I reset the machine several times and it does this every single time. It locks up and it stays on "88" until the machine is turned off. Any pointers will be greatlt appreciated.

Once that happened to me and what I realized was that the button was sticking. So what I had to do was just lightly tap the small test button . Hope that helps .

I suspected the button also, I tapped it and removed the entire board and blew all the dirt off around the button. Still no dice. I now have some literature for the controls I am going to try and troubleshoot the main board tomm.
