I have a 21' x 52' indoor pool and two shower/dressing rooms in an enclosed 30' x 102' area with an adjacent mechanical room in a Physical Therapy facility. I have an old Dectron (Dryatron) unit that heats the water, provides HVAC for the entire area and dehumiditizes the pool area. Any suggestions as to what maunfacturer/equipment will do the best job for the above?

My favorite:

Some others. Just make sure you have full factory support in design and that the installing contractor has years of successful pool heat pump dehumidifiers.

and make sure whomever you buy from knows what your going to be using it for. from what I understand some manufacturers wont stand by a warranty on specific models if placed around water, for example.

I would probably stay with Dectron, they have been in the business for a longtime. You might look into Munters. The key is proper design. I just recently looked at a hotel with an indoor pool using a Dectron, the unit had been broken for sometime and the area was being cooled with a 15 ton package unit. All of the windows were full of condensation, it was a real disaster. Indoor pool designs are real tricky and there are a lot of concerns today about the chloramides in the air. You may want to have a qualified engineer redesign your indoor pool area. Another point to mention, I strongly recommend Ductsox for the air distribution in the pool area.
