I found this site while Stumbling. Its the 50 weirdest laws in the US. This one struck me as odd:


Pennsylvania: It’s illegal to sleep on top of a refrigerator outdoors.

Hope none of you guys ever fall asleep out there. Apparently its against the law! :gah:

I once fell asleep in a washing machine.

Lying under the tub replacing something (don't remember what part) and it was apparently more comfortable in there than I had expected.

Wife and daughter came home to find me snoring with my torso and legs sticking out of the washer.

Perfectly legal in NJ.

Never fell asleep on top of a fridge, but I did fall asleep once while installing a flue pipe behind a furnace about 2:00 am during an emergency replacement while my back was comfortably against a wall. Homeowners were great they broke out coffee and fresh muffins after the install.
