Give me some more information....
I take it that the machine is not tripping on low oil temperature while running (there is no such alarm), but is not starting due to a low oil temperature?

Is the oil heater working? how about the fuse for the heater? Is the heater's associated contactor pulling in?

Is the temperature sensor working properly and is it in the oil sump? Is the oil sump temperature really at the temperature that is being reported? (you may have a sensor going to ground)

You need to be somewhere at least from 55 to 70 F above the cooler refrigerant temperature in order for the unit to continue the start. If the cooler water is really warm, then sometimes you may never be able to get there. I have at times placed a small resistor in parallel with the oil sump temperature sensor in order to continue with a start under these circumstances. That increases oil temp. All you need to do is to touch the resistor in parallel, the start up continues, and then you can pull the resistor out of the line and read normal oil temp.
