Have a 1990's era Microtech Controller, does anyone remember the code to get inside to make changes?

There are a few passwords depending on which unit you are looking at, is it a Screw or Centrifugal Chiller or Rooftop/Self contained, need to know to help.

I love when they get the passwords It means I will be making some money very soon. :) Make sure you change all the service setpoints
IE: lower the "stop to start" timer <--lets you start the comp faster
set the "oil diff" setpoint to zero <--- prevents nuisance
set the "freeze trip" to zero <---same as above
and don't forget the "low evap press" setpoint to zero. <--- same as above

SEAMUS you don't get the Tech Password cause you don't need it.
The only thing you could do with that is mess up the customers nice new machine. Leave the Factory setpoints where they are. They are set there for a reason.
But, Im reasonable you can have the operator password its "100"
That will let you adjust everthing YOU NEED! to.

I haven't seen very many chillers that didn't need some kind of change from factory settings.
The key is to have a good understanding of the machine and what your changes will do. Be honest with yourself and if you don't, well, call the factory guys.

Moe has it correct, I do not remember the order it goes either, 4's first or 5's.

I'd have to agree with Chilly on this one. The operator password is one thing. Giving someone the service password is another. All applicable parameters should be set at startup. Changing them to correct symtoms doesn't usually correct the cause. Very expensive to repair if you set up a unit outside it's designed ability. Not a sermon, just a thought.
