Conference Room Problem

I know this is not much information, but we have a commercial customer with a small conference room that for 7 years this has never been a problem, but for some reason the room turns into a sauna whenever the heat is on ( the tstat is located in a different room) we have checked for dampers - no dampers in system
What other things could we possibly check?

no, Im sorry this is just a lennox heat pump pkg unit on the roof

Wouldn't be the first time people have fiddled with the supply louvers above their desk without any regard to consequences. Breaking out the balancing hood and take some volume readings would be a good starting point.

Um, I had something similar a few years ago. If memory serves me I think I added a return and a 8" supply to the room and relocated the T-stat.

room already has a return in it, and it has worked fine for 7 years without a tstat in the room

I am going to take my flow hood over tomorrow to take readings

What other areas does the unit supply , check those as well.

Have found that other areas get renovated , ductwork capped off and suddenly an NO PROBLEM area for X# of years is suddenly a problem.

i agree, is the room withe stat in it loaded?

Hood is a good place to start.

I'd also check the Outside Air, people close it off all the time to save a dime and then pay someone to find out why they have problems. O/A not being adjusted properly would affect both the supply and return.

T-Stat in another room, seen that issue a time or two

Has the equipment in the room changed, i.e. new/additional monitors, computers etc. Occupants never account for the heat load when adding new equipment.
