Hey, we picked up a new customer and they have a McQuay loop controller M# LWC16 S# 50C05213.

Is there anything special about this controller that we need to worry about? I went through it and it has an LCD display to change setpoints so this seems to be a simple controller? Do I need software for this at any point?
Thoughts and suggestions are appreciated.

I dealt with one for several years and found everything could be done from the front panel. No software needed.

That's what I thought. Thanks

You dont need any software until it goes down. Be ready to pay big bucks for the board and programming from Mcquay if it goes south.

I had one die a few years back, it was cheaper for me to install a ddc controller in its place.

I changed jobs about 18 months ago, and several months later the loop controller died. My former coworkers put a unt in its place.
