comparing warranties

The low estimate was Lennox but there are components of Lennox that have only 5 year warranties. Am I likely to have to pay a lot after 5 years on things that the warranty has expired on? I had an estimate from a Bryant dealer and the warranty is 10 years Parts and Labor, 10 year limited factory warranty on Compressor and 20 years to lifetime limited factory warranty on Heat Exchanger for 80% or 90%. This estimate was more money but I'm confused on the warranties. I think the Lennox would be OK, but will it last more than 5 years or will I have to pay a lot in repairs after 5 years?

the contractor is probably warranting the equipment or hes adding in an extended warranty in the price. im a bryant dealer and i would go bryant before lennox anyday, but none of bryants equipment comes standard with a 10 yr parts and labor. usually bryant reliant comes with a 10 yr compressor 5 year parts and 25 yr heat exchanger.
