Sizing indoor evaporator coil

I understand the efficiency reasons behind increasing the size of the indoor evaporator coils...I think.. but anyway if I size my indoor evaporator coil 2.5 tons and my new outdoor condenser
coil 2.0 tons,...will I have to increase my refrigerant or just weigh the correct charge in according to specs to achieve better efficiency?

install a coil that matches the unit you are installing to get whatever seer rating you want set you fan speed right and set your charge by subcooling
