The house was built in 1978.

That is what I thought also.. 1973..

I guess the unit could have sat in whse for five years.

Not positive ,but I think it's 1977,and "B" is February.

If your looking to replace it, look into Carrier's new dual fuel packaged heat pumps.

B is Feb, the 7 after it would mean 77.

if you do, take the gaurds off the condenser coils and throw them away. they are only good for traping grass
