I have a bunch of R-11. some 113, and some 123 here. Also I found some R-500, R-13, R-503, and another one which escapes me right now.
I hate to just send it in for recycle. Anybody need any of this stuff? I'll never use it again and I sure could use the space back.
I wonder if any place buys it any more?
Ideas?
Thanks!

Is it new? (valve on top of the cylinder still wrapped in plastic)
If so, call a few refer companies in your area. Doubt you'd get top price for it, but they might give you something, plus you'll have space back. Unless someone from here is willing to drive to get it from you, I don't know if I'd want to know the paperwork nightmare involved with shipping it.
If they've been opened I see em heading in for recycling.

I (the company) have a bunch of r-12 with the plastic still on, called UR and they wouldn't take it back.

I asked the people it came from - no dice. I'm sorry now that I didn't just leave it on the job site. <g>
Well, I guess I can at least wash motorcycle parts in the R-11. <g>

I would take it, but I can't make it to South Jersey any time soon. Man you shold be able to get rid of that.
I hear that small airports use a lot of those refrigerants. Apparently those plane are not so easy to convert. I think they use R11 to clean parts and stuff as well. Check the local private airport.

I'd be willing to bet you...........That your local community college that has an HVAC program would love to have it or if they didnt they could contact one of the other state community colleges for you that would prolly love to have it. Just a suggestion.

The R-11 / R-123 are in ten 225 cylinders. Not sure how much of eah but I can check for you.
Where are you? Im in southern New Jersey. In North Jersey-speak, think: Exit Two <g>
Just FYI: Exit One is the bridge into Delaware.
When do you think you could come by?

I would break out the yellow pages and call auto garages that do car HVAC. They may need it more.
