Is Puron the same refrigerant as R410A ?

Puron IS R410A.
Freon is R-22.

Actually, "Puron" is Carriers name for R410a. I've never refered to R22 as "Freon", it's R22. R410a is actually AZ-20 developed by Honeywell (AKA) Allied Signal. Neither are freons, they're refrigerants hense the "R".
