Looks like a 3 ton, but why are you asking?

well, the outside unit is freezing up, think it is probably leaking freon because back in june, the a-coil inside was freezing up and i had freon added to it and it fixed it, now its doing it again, only the outside unit freezing this time, because of using it in heat mode, im thinking its probably the a-coil leaking because it is looking rusty and nasty and was needing to know what size system this is in case i do need a new a-coil.

Your technician would know, just ask him.

Who ever you have to repair your system will know what size coil to get.

It is a heatpump....It will normally freeze in the winter. It will also defrost itself automatically!

When you had refrigerant added to it, did they find and repair a leak?

ok, they came and checked it out, it was once again low on freon, he gassed it up and its working fine again, he leak checked it and the A-coil inside the house needs to be replaced, its leaking, rusted bad, so i need to get one and know where i can get them for a good price but will have to order it and dont know how to go about picking the correct one because the A-coil has no part numbers anywhere on it, any ideas? The outside unit has all the info on it but nothing on the A-coil, all i know is the outside unit is a goodman 3 ton unit, and again, its a mobil home so the a-coil is not enclosed, it sits on a drain pan and they sit on top of the blower furnace, any ideas on how to figure this out?

THis isn't like changing a starter on a Monte Carlo. Get a pro to do it all the way through. Not a Hackitin Magillicutty

i do have a pro to install it, but i am getting the a-coil myself as its much cheaper, i see on ebay they have a mobil home a-coil made by nordine and so far its the first one ive seen that looks like mine..wondering if thats the brand they used being this is indeed a mobil home instead of the goodman like the outside unit.

The coil needs to be matched to that particular goodman unit. It can be adapted to the furnace or blower that you have. We add heatpumps to mobile home furnaces all the time. Your tech should be able to do this easily.

Here's a little secret:

It's cheaper for a professional to bring you the correct coil, than to try and buy it from e-bay. Not only because you can get the wrong coil, but just in general price.

Is your repair guy willing to install IF you buy it yourself ? Will he still warranty his work ?

Things to think about.
