Furnac gas valve allowing gas through

Is it normal for a very small amount of gas to leak through to the burners when a furnace is off? I am a getting 1%LEL reading at the burner ports when my unit is off. Is that normal? Is that safe?

Ummmm...negative ghost rider....100% shutoff means exactly that. Not safe, not good. Call a pro my friend.
